3. Helium Articles

Helium is an online writing community devoted to crafting the perfect article for any topic you can think of. They use a hierarchy/rating system that guarentees the better articles move to the top. Authors get paid approximately a penny each time their article is viewed (obviously no one’s making any money).

So I ask you to do two things:

#1. Please feel free click on the links below and read some of my articles. I’m not planning on becoming rich, but this is another venue for my writing. Though some of the articles overlap, most of my Helium articles are not published on Kevin Olsen: Author.

#2. If you’re interested in becoming a Helium Author, please let me know. I will send you an invitation.

Particularly liked your argument in “Should one’s faith influence a citizen’s vote?”

I’ve never heard your particular argument in “Theories on the evolution of the primate order” and your ending made me laugh aloud.

You make a great point in “Does violence in video games contribute to real life violence?” but I would question whether it desensitizes people to violence (or language, etc.) in a way that may not be healthy. If you’re only considering the argument that they encourage acts of violence, then it stands as an excellent argument, but I wonder whether or not the games have a negative effect overall on our kids. (I just bought United 93 but have not yet watched it… ;)
